We as an Association are committed to the best practice and teaching of Shotokan Karate and we welcome other like minded people to train with us and to join our Association. At the moment this is the preferred method for smaller responsible groups to attain membership of the Welsh Karate Governing Body, who with a currant membership of some 40+ Association members consider this to be a manageable amount without further increase at this present time.

We have a tradition of extremely high standards of tuition and mutual respect within our Association, and we are determined to maintain and build upon our existing status and would expect any perspective affiliate member to be likeminded. We feel that we have a great wealth of knowledge and experience to offer other groups, as well as a healthy social and fund raising programme, which all our members participate in, and benefit from. It is, and has always been our philosophy that you can always learn from, and have something to offer other groups and Karateka and we encourage practitioners to interact with us in an attempt to celebrate the similarities and diversities of our Art without the pressures and political bias which can sometimes be experienced.
